The beautifully manicured grounds are home to a freshwater pool, over which guests have a glorious view from their own private luxury apartments.  For those wanting to spend the day at the beach, you have full use of the beach towels, loungers and umbrellas.

The resort is the ideal destination for families too, with baby sitting services available to keep the little ones occupied while the adults can enjoy some water sports such as snorkelling, diving and deep sea fishing, or make use of the on-site tennis court.  You can even venture elsewhere for a game of golf at the Royal Westmoreland or Sandy Lane.

Situated in blocks, the villas and apartments at Glitter Bay are light and airy, with units 202 and 412 offering light, airy accommodations.  Excellent dining and shopping can be found in nearby Holetown to the south, while 10 minutes to the north you will find yourself in Speightstown, where you will find a more authentic flavour of the island.

Elevators are available in the resort for ease of access.  Please note that smoking is not permitted in the apartments.


The apartments at Glitter Bay feature two bedrooms, and can be rented either as a full and complete unit with both bedrooms or in some case just a single bedroom option.

There is a spacious master bedroom with a king size bed and dedicated en-suite facilities with bath and shower.  A second bedroom features two twin beds that can be made up as a king size and is adjacent to a second bathroom with either a bath/shower or a shower only.

There are stunning views from the bedroom balconies that overlook the tropical landscaped gardens as well as partial sea views for enjoying the spectacular sunsets.

Communal Areas

An open plan apartment design maximises space, with the kitchen/living area leading through to the balcony off of the dining room where again you can enjoy the fabulous views.  A well-equipped standard of accommodation with a host of conveniences including cable TV and WiFi access to keep you connected with the world outside Barbados.


A minimal staff is provided that can range from a simple housekeeping service to meal preparation offering two consecutive meals a day – breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner to suit your preference.

Please note that our housekeepers are not trained nannies and should not be expected to look after and/or babysit infants and children. If you do make babysitting arrangements with the staff, please be advised this is at your own risk.


The levy on accommodation, collected in resort, will cost between US$2.50 (£1.90) and $17.50 (£14.50 for 5* Hotels) per room per night until VAT doubles to 15% in 2020 as set by Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley.
