Overview of Illusion

Nestled in the gated community of Sugar Hill Resort, Illusion is a custom-built villa located slightly north of Holetown on Barbados’ West Coast. Drawing inspiration from the luxurious Sandy Lane Hotel, Illusion seamlessly blends elegance with contemporary design. Upon entering through expansive glass doors, a breathtaking vista of the Caribbean Sea unfolds, leading to a covered terrace overlooking a large pool and dual staircases.

To the left is a spacious dining room with a glass table for twelve, offering an alfresco experience with folding glass doors opening to a wrap-around balcony. Adjacent is a well-outfitted kitchen with ample space, accommodating two wine coolers and featuring a dumbwaiter for easy meal transfers to the external dining area on the pool level.

On the lower level, a tastefully designed living room serves as a comfortable retreat, equipped with a large flat-screen TV, cable, DVD player, Bose speakers, and a bar. The open-plan layout leads to the pool deck through several arches, featuring loungers, a barbecue, and two gazebos with Bose surround sound. One gazebo includes a small kitchenette, and the other offers an informal dining area, creating an ideal space for relaxation, music, cocktails, and barbecue meals.

Illusion, part of the Sugar Hill Resort Community, provides resort amenities such as a Clubhouse, acclaimed restaurant, two swimming pools, and four tennis courts. A short 5-minute drive leads to the resort’s beach facility at The Fairmont Royal Pavilion.

All of the bedroom suites are air-conditioned, have private covered terraces, en suite bathrooms and a security safe. The bedroom suites are equally proportioned with the majority located on the ground floor of Illusion. The master suite is on the first floor and features a second living room, a large flat screen television with cable TV, DVD player and Bose surround speakers. The master suite also has a large walk-in closet and an en suite bathroom that includes a tub and separate shower. The king size bed allows you to lounge in bed and have a view of the sea.

The levy on accommodation, collected in resort, will cost between US$2.50 (£1.90) and $17.50 (£14.50 for 5* Hotels) per room per night.
